Comments:
This gun uses the same mechanism as the Daisy 1200. It must be cocked by
the lever under the barrel before each
shot. This is a hard hitter with moderate accuracy and very
consistent shot velocity. Although the inner mechanism is very
reliable, the outer plastic shell is pretty fragile. Avoid over
tightening screws or dropping this gun.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/13/06 at a temperature of 80 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Copperhead BBs (5.1 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 479 fps, the lowest was 467
fps (average of the 10-shot string was 474 fps). A six shot string
