Comments: This is a fun gun to shoot even though accuracy suffers due to the short barrel. It balances very well and has a nice kick when fired. This grip style for the R-77 was discontinued when the R-77 Combat was introduced. Gamo discontinued all of their revolvers except the R-77 Combat (4") in early 2006.

Performance: Measurements were made on 8/01/06 at a temperature of 86 F and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Premier Super Match pellets (7.9 gr). The highest velocity measured was 316 fps, the lowest was 253 fps (average of the 10-shot string was 275 fps). A five shot string fired with open sights grouped at 1.20".
