Competitions for CO₂ and Airsoft Replica Pistols

There have been several attempts, mostly in the United Kingdom, to start organized competitions involving CO2 powered replica pistols. Most of these have not lasted very long. However, there is growing interest in practical shooting competitions involving airsoft pistols. This is a very popular sport in many Asian countries and is slowly making its way into Europe and the US.

Airsoft Practical Shooting Information:

• American Airsoft Practical Shooting (AAPS) - This is a new organization devoted to promoting IPSC-style practical shooting using gas blowback airsoft pistols in the United States.

• International Airsoft Practical Shooting (IAPS) - International sanctioning organization for IPSC-style shooting using gas blow-back airsoft pistols.
